After 3 failed attempts,Chi finally got his foot surgery.
So fingers crossed everyone,we need to wish Chi a quick recovery!! :D

i just got a text from momma j… here is her message:
“hi bear. please put out a prayer request. dai is in a neuro ICU at the hospital he went to for his foot surgery. there was no room so they gave him a room in the ER and said he had a seizure while the epilepsy specialist was watching. will know more tomorrow. will keep you informed. love, mom”
please keep chi in your thoughts and prayers.
i wish he didn’t have to go thru this kind of crap anymore. it’s heartbreaking.
i will keep you all posted.

“hey all,
chi was just taken into surgery a moment ago… they are doing a minor procedure to put in a shunt. it is basically used to administer meds and draw blood without having to continuously poke him every time they need something. they expect it to take about an hour.
the dude just can’t catch a break. i hate that he has to keep going thru stuff.. but i guess doing this once will be better than him being poked over and over.

Here’s hoping he makes a speedy recovery and thankfully he doesn’t have to be proded constantly now :D

He unfortunately took an episode in his sleep and was unable to go through with the operation :(

It was only Dr Defina that was in the car,Jessica wasn’t with him.He’s in surgery now :(

“Hey all,
Just wanted to give you guys an update and thank you for keeping Chi in your thoughts!
Here is the text Momma J just sent me:
“Sonny called last night, talked to Dai, said a prayer w Dai n me touching his head. Within a few minutes his fever broke, he fell asleep n slept through the night so peacefully. Didnt even move or sweat a drop. Pls do a post for me bear. Thank everyone who covered him w prayers. Love u Gina!!”

Mom J says: “Chi is out of ICU and in the neuro rehab unit. The unit is all new and the staff is wonderful! Roxie is with him every night and he is currently stable and easing back into the therapies. We will update often. Please keep us in prayer.”

“Mom J says Chi was meant to be moved back to rehab tomorrow but then spiked a fever and his vitals were so high the monitors couldn’t read the numbers and came up with a questionmark instead.. Scary. He is stable now but something is still wrong and he needs our prayers! One love for Chi ♥”

“THE PROTOCOL THAT CHI IS GETTING NOW (2 YEARS LATER THAN HE COULD HAVE HAD IT) is not available to people through their insurance plans and we could see the improvement after the first 2 days and more now after 5 days of treatment. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!!!

Wednesday the 31st is Brain Injury Awareness Day. Please… help spread the word that there are over 5 million ppl in the US alone living with brain disability. There is a protocol NOT being used that would save half of the 9 billion spent annually in California. It would cost 61 million to implement and save 4 billion annually. It would also save more than half of the lives lost to TBI’s.

Also the US spends over 80 BILLION annually for the long term care for the patients with brain injury. This Could be reduced to 40 BILLION-HALF!!!if this protocol were available and used at the time of injury. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!!
